Police have rescued a six-year-old boy after 46 days of his abduction from capital's Uttara area.
Mobarak, 6, was rescued from Gazipur around 7pm Sunday.
DMP Joint Commissioner Md Monirul Islam said: “A cyber crime prevention team conducted a drive and detained two members of a kidnapping gang from Gazipur and Gaibandha districts.”
Abdul Jabbar alias Thandu alias Bablu was detained from Gaibandha.
He said: ”On the basis of the information provided by Abdul, we datined his wife Nazma Akhter with the abducted child from Gazipur.”
Mobarak was abducted form Uttara on December 29.
