Chittagong district administration took a decision to increase the facilities of Patenga and Parky beaches in Chittagong by acquiring 43 acres of land.
Deputy Commissioner of Chittagongr Mesbah Uddin made the disclosure in a meeting of Beach Management Committee held in DC office yesterday.
“Five acres of land in Patenga beach and 38 acres of land in Parky beach under Anwara upazila in Chittagong will be acquired and the procedure will be completed within next two months,” said the deputy commissioner.
