The police have recovered a drone-like object from in front of IDB building in the capital's Agargaon area on Thursday.
G G Bishsas, OC of Shere-Bangla-Nagar police station, told the Dhaka Tribune: “Some day labourers noticed the four-winged object around 12:15pm and informed the police.
“A team of patrol police recovered it and sent it to the Detective Branch (DB) of Police for further examination.”
“An initial examination showed that it cannot be a drone. We suspect that the half feet long thing could be a toy plane,” added the OC.
A General Diary (GD) has been filed in this connection.
