Three hand bombs have been exploded opposite to BNP's central office at Nayapaltan in the capital.
None was injured in the explosion.
Police are yet to make any arrest in this connection.
Witnesses said the hand bombs were blasted around 4pm Thursday. However, nobody saw who had made the blast.
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) activists staged demonstration after the incident. They also chanted slogans saying that the blast was made by the pro-government people.
Morshed Alam, officer-in-charge of Paltan police station said police were trying to find out the persons involved with the incident.
After the incident, additional police were deployed in the area.
