Riot Electronic Arts and Music in association with Goethe-Institut Bangladesh is organising an electronica concert featuring a few hand-picked artists from the local electronica scene titled, “Electronic Propaganda” at Berlin Hall of the Goethe-Institut Bangladesh premises, today at 6:00pm.
The musical event will feature some of the best local electronic music producers like Fahad Zaman, Zaeed Zubair and KymaTrip. The concert will provide music enthusiasts with an opportunity to experience the sounds, visions and the eclectic styles fuelling the local electronic scene.
Electronica artists from Dhaka and Chittagong have come a long way from a handful of individuals sharing their sonic experiments into figures who are now consistently creating new material and garnering followers, both from the underground scene as well as the mainstream.
Fahad Zaman, one of the founding members of Riot Electronic Arts and Music shares, “Local electronic music producers have given fantastic material in the last few years but so far, there are no such platforms that would introduce their works to the audience.”
Riot Electronic Arts and Music works with local talent by discovering new talent and provides them with free resources, technical guidance and promotion; leading to growth, collaboration and a voice for emerging artists.
