The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) has approves eight development projects worth over Tk2,865 crore.
The approval comes in a meeting of the Ecnec held at the NEC conference room with Ecnec Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal briefed reporters after the meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
Of the eight projects' cost, Tk1,536 crore will come from the national exchequer and Tk1,328 crore from foreign assistance, said the minister.
