Police have recovered the bullet-hit body of a hotel owner from Tolarbagh in Darussalam area of Mirpur.
The deceased is Rafiqul Islam Junaid, 42, owner of Shahjalal Hotel, and a resident of Tolarbagh area.
Darussalam OC (Investigation) Faruqul Alam said he did not return home after he left the house on Monday.
He said: “On information from the locals, we went to the spot and recovered the bullet-hit body from the road around 7am Tuesday.”
