Former JaPa lawmaker Mojibur Rahman dies

Mohammad Mojibur Rahman, former Jatiya Party presidium member and former lawmaker of Lalmonirhat 2 constituency, has died of old age complications early Saturday. He was 76.

Rahman breathed his last around 4am at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka, BSS reported.

The body of Mojibur Rahaman will be taken to Lalmonirhat. He will be buried after a namaj-e-janaza at Aditmari GM High School and College ground.

Speaker, deputy speaker, chief whip and leader of the opposition in the parliament expressed profound shock at the death of former MP.
