Grammy and Brit Award winning British soul singer Joss Stone is all set to perform in Dhaka in February. Stone will perform at Pop Republic, an event of LiveSquare Entertainment, on February 20 at the Nabaratri Hall of the International Convention City, Bashundhara.
Joscelyn Eve Stoker, better known by her stage name Joss Stone, has become the youngest British female singer to top the UK Albums Chart and has sold 14 million albums worldwide, establishing herself as one of the best-selling artists of her time.
Stone is also known for her illustrious solo career as a virtuoso singer and multi-instrumentalist. Starring in musical productions with heavyweight musicians Mick Jagger, Damian Marley and A R Rahman in the group SuperHeavy, her streak of performances include major collaborations with James Brown, John Legend, Stone Temple Pilots, Robbie Williams, Jeff Beck, Rob Thomas and many more acclaimed names from around the world.
The prolific diva will visit Bangladesh at the next stop of her ongoing World Tour around 196 countries.
Alongside Joss Stone, local popular music icons including Arnob, Jon Kabir, Rafa, Armeen Musa, Elita Karim and Minar will be in Pop Republic as well, making it a music platform dedicated to bringing pop music to the masses featuring renowned artists from all over the world.
