A Kaizen service fair has begun in Mohadevpur upazila under Naogaon district.
The fair began around 11:30am Thursday.
Mohadevpur upazila administration arranged the fair while such move is first of its kind in the country's rural level, says a media release signed by Mohadevpur UNO AKM Tajkir-Uz-Jaman.
Local lawmaker Md Salim Uddin will inaugurated the day-long event. The UNO presided over the fair, where Mohadevpur upazila parishad Chairman Md Abdus Sattar alias Nannu will present as the special guest.
Kaizen is the practice of continuous improvement, which was originally introduced to the West by Masaaki Imai in his book “Kaizen: The Key to Japan's Competitive Success in 1986.”
Currently the method has been recognised worldwide as an important pillar of an organization's long-term competitive strategy.
