Suspected war criminal from Brahmanbari Md Emdad Hossain died due to old-age complications at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Tuesday.
Emdad, 80, died around 1:15am while undergoing treatment under Medicine Department of the hospital, said DMCH police outpost in-charge Mozammel Haque.
The alleged war criminal was admitted to the DMCH on January 7, a day after he was arrested on charge of committing crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.
