Finance Minister AMA Abdul Muhith yesterday told the parliament that foreign assistance had increased at 6.05% rate in the current fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year.
Replying to a query of M Abdul Latif, the finance minister said till December of 2015-16 fiscal year, Bangladesh received $1592.41 million while in the same period in the 2014-15 fiscal year Bangladesh received $1501.61 million.
Bangladesh received foreign donation of $298.83 million while foreign loan assistance is $1293.57 million in the same period of the current fiscal year, the minister said.
