Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote President Tarana Halim has filed a case against the general secretary of the organisation for allegedly forging her signature and asking fund from Teletalk Bangladesh.
On behalf of Tarana, state minister for Posts and Telecommunications, her Assistant Personal Secretary Joydeb Nath filed the case against Arun Sarkar Rana with Shahbagh police station on Sunday night.
In the complaint, Tarana accused Rana of forging her signature and asking fund for the celebration of national day programmes like Victory Day and Bangabandhu's Home Coming Day from the telecommunication company.
Shahbagh OC Abu Bakar Siddiqui confirmed about the case to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said they will arrest the accused.
Denying the allegation, Rana claimed: “Not only Tarana's but even my signature has been forged in the letter that was sent to Telelalk for the fund. We are looking into the matter.”
