Two people have been killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Bholapara under Ranisankail upazila in Thakurgaon.
The deceased are Yunus Ali, 45, a jaggery trader and truck helper Anwar Hossain, 35. Both of them are from Rajshahi.
Witnesses said a night coach of Radil Enterprise collided head-on with a truck at Bholapara around 9am Thursday, killing one on the spot and injuring the others.
The injured were taken to Ranisankail Hospital where one of them died.
Ranisankail OC Rezaul Karim confirmed about the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
