The National University (NU) authorities have refixed the dates for the pre-scheduled examinations for the third year students under honours programme.
The examinations scheduled to be held on January 20 have been shifted to February, following days of students' protests.
NU examination controller Md Badruzzaman told the Dhaka Tribune: “The examinations have been rescheduled, responding to the demands of the students. We also have issued the exam schedule.
“The demonstrating students expressed their gratitude towards the authorities for the new exam dates and for the schedule with significant gaps between two exams.”
“They also snapped a selfie with me out of joy,” he added.
