Officials of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) have arrested three people with 25,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Firingi Bazar area in Chittagong.
The arrestees are Nasir Uddin, 30, Milon Mia, 32 and Kiron, 45.
Ali Aslam Hossain, deputy director of the DNC, told the Dhaka Tribune: “Acting on a tip-off, a team of the DNC conducted a drive and held the three with the yaba tablets from a Dhaka-bound covered van around 9pm Tuesday.”
He said a case was lodged against the trio with Kotwali police station in this connection.
