One of the most popular faces of Dhallywood, Diti, has recently been affected by the deadly Parkinson’s disease. It is rumoured that the condition is an unexpected result of radiation treatment for cancer. She is currently being treated at a hospital in Chennai, India.
Lamia Chowdhury, the daughter of Diti and late actor Sohel Chowdhury, revealed her mother’s current physical conditions by posting with an impassioned status post Facebook, explaining her mother’s condition and imploring for a little privacy in the matter.
Chowdhury seems agitated, probably from the repeated inquiries by people, she even suggested all to pray for her mother’s speedy and comfortable death. Part of the message reads, “I cannot answer to your questions any more. I will not pray for her recovery any more and if you are praying then please pray for a quick and easy departure for her. Not an extended life of a lab rat. If God has mercy he will do the kind thing and end her suffering fast. At some point we need to understand life is a boon for the healthy and a curse on those suffering.”
Earlier, Diti underwent a brain surgery at Chennai MIOT Hospital of India yesterday. The actress was admitted to the hospital again recently, after she was diagnosed with brain tumour last year.
