BNP chairperson's adviser Khandaker Mahbub Hossain have urged the Election Commission for holding reelection in more than 100 centres as they alleged that irregularities took place in those polling centres.
He was talking to journalists after a BNP delegation met the EC at its office in the capital around 4:45pm on Wednesday.
He said the EC seems to be “helpless”. However, they have assured them of looking into the matter according to their allegations.
Mahbub said BNP is on the path of democracy as they always had been.
