Hand bombs have been blasted allegedly by the ruling party men near seven polling centres in Jessore Sadar municipality.
At least five people were injured in the incidents. However, the injuries were not severe.
The polling centres are: Aminia Madrasa, Rail Station Govt. Primary School, Islam Colony Govt. Primary School and Police Lines High School.
Assistant Police Super Bhaskar Saha said: "We heard about the crude bomb blasts and sent police on the spots. Police brought the situation under control."
Supporters of Awami League rebel candidates, BNP candidates and voters alleged that the ruling party men blasted the bombs.
