Voting in three out of four centres has resumed after about two hours of suspension.
Earlier, District Election Officer Rafiqul Islam cancelled voting in the four centres around 11:45am Wednesday.
Later, he said that he made the announcement to cancel voting to calm the situation.
Polling resumed in Madhabdi SP Institute, Madhabdi municipality building centre, Katapora Government Primary School centres around 1:30pm.
Now, voting in Fazlul Karim Kindergarten and Nur Alam Bhuiyan Kindergarten centres remained suspended.
The presiding officer in Fazlul Karm Kindergarten centre was injured during the clash between two commissioner candidates.
Besides, BNP-backed candidates alleged that the Awami League supporters took control of three to four polling centres in Narshingdi Sadar and Madhabdi municipalities.
