Detective Branch of Police personnel have recovered an automatic sniper rifle, ammunition and army uniforms from a JMB den in Hathazari area of Chittagong.
Three members of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were detained during drive on Saturday. Based on the information given by the detainees, DB police raided the house and busted the JMB den.
The busting came three days after the law enforcers busted a JMB den and recovered suicide belt, grenades, explosives and firearms from a building at Mirpur in Dhaka.
Babul Akhter, additional deputy commissioner of the DB of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, told the Dhaka Tribune: “An automatic sniper rifle, 190 rounds of bullets and explosives were recovered in the drive that began on Saturday night.”

Besides, some military uniforms were recovered during in the midnight drive.
Babul Akhter claimed that the detainees are active JMB members. The identities of the detainees could not be ascertained yet.
