Two pedestrians have been killed and two others injured in a road accident at Vullarhat area on the Burimari-Lalmonirhat highway under Kaliganj upazila of the district.
The deceased were Abdul Jabbar, 62, and Moriful Islam, 13, residents of Hsjrania village of the upazila, reports BSS.
Police said the accident occurred at about 11:30pm Thursday when a bamboo-laden truck turned turtle on the road as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the two-pedestrian dead on the spot and two others injured.
The injured were sent to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex.
