Hatirjheel project authority has started the much-awaited circular bus service.
Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain inaugurated the bus service at Sonargaon Railroad crossing of the route Wednesday morning, reports Bangla Tribune, a sister concern of Dhaka Tribune.
Primarily, the service was launched with four buses with the seating capacity of 27 passengers each.
The bus fare from Rampura to Karwanbazar has been fixed at Tk15 while Tk30 to move around Hatirjheel project.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Project Director of Hatirjheel Major General Syed Masud, Chairman of RAJUK G M Joynal Abedin Bhuyan and Additional Commissioner of Police (traffic) Golam Faruk were present, among others, during the inauguration ceremony.
