PM urges BGB to work for upholding its dignity

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her firm optimism that members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) would discharge their duties with utmost honesty and patriotism to uphold the goodwill and dignity of the border force and earn public confidence.

The prime minister made the statement while addressing the BGB Parade marking the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Day-2015 at BGB headquarters at Pilkhana on Sunday morning.

Syrian war: Russia capable of more, says Putin

Vladimir Putin has said Russia is using "far from everything we are capable of" in its military operations in Syria.

"We also have other things as well and will use them if necessary," the Russian president said.

Satkhira midnight drive makes 30 arrests
