Six devotees have sustained minor injuries in hand bomb blasts at a mosque inside the Isha Khan Base of Bangladesh Navy at Patenga of the port city
According to a press release of Inter Service Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) issued on Friday, two hand bombs went off at the mosque soon after the Juma prayers, leaving six devotees injured.
“The injured were released after primary treatment,” it added.
One person has been detained along with some explosives from the mosque, where devotees from outside of the naval base also say their prayers, read the press note.
Further investigation is underway,it added.
