Bodies of three people of a family, who went missing after a boat capsized in the Buriganga River on Saturday morning, were recovered from different of the river.
Police handed over the bodies of Selim Khan, his daughter Mousumi Akter, and son Emon Khan in the afternoon, said Sub-Inspector of Boktaboli police outpost Abdul Razzak.
The SI said bodies of Selim and Emon were found in Rajapur and Mousumi’s in Alir Tek of Narayanganj Sadar in the morning.
With the recovery of these three bodies, four bodies have so far been recovered since the boat capsized after being hit by a launch in the Burhiganga at Narayanganj’s Decreer Char around 6am on Saturday. On Monday body of Abdul Kader, 55, was recovered from the river. Five people went missing after the capsize.
