The government will issue 8th National Pay Scale gazette in this week, Finance Minister AMA Muhith has said.
He made the disclosure while talking to journalists at his residence on Monday.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has signed the pay scale order, said Muhith.
On Saturday, finance minister said new pay scale for public servants will be implemented within this month.
The Pay Commission, headed by former Bangladesh Bank governor Mohammed Farashuddin, had made its recommendations on December 21 last year.
It had proposed 16 grades, although the secretary-level committee revised it to 20 grades.
