Local police have recovered the body of a young man from a graveyard in Saheber Kaborkhana area in the city on Saturday.
The dead, Gauranga Bishwas, 30, son of Dilip Bishwas, hails from nearby Aisgati village in Rupsha upazila of Khulna.
When contacted, Khulna Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shafiqul Islam said locals spotted Dilip's body laying on Saheber Kaborkhana graveyard around 10am and informed them.
Police recovered the body that bore many fatal injury marks in the back and sent it to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Dilip might have been killed by his friends centring payment dispute, the OC went on.
