Ten people have been injured in hand bombs blasts at Rash Mela on the premises of Kantaji temple in Kaharole upazila of Dinajpur.
Dinajpur Superintendent of Police Ruhul Amin confirmed this to the Bangla Tribune, a sister concern of the Dhaka Tribune.
Amin said: “Three hand bombs were hurled one after another by some unidentified miscreants at the stage of Rash Mela around 1am Saturday, injuring at least 10 people.”
Of the injured, six were admitted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital. They are Mithu, 30, of Syedpur, Saidur, 25, of Kaharole, Jabbar, 28, Sadhan, 35, of Lalmonirhat, MUsaddek, 23 of Rangpur and Umakanta Roy, 22, of Birganj. Later, four of them were released after giving first aid, said hospital sources.
Police have arrested three suspected miscreants involved in the incident, said the police official.
