A single episode drama titled Joynuddin-er Ek Phali Ruti will be aired today on Maasranga TV at 7:40pm. Written and directed by Amirul Islam Arun, the drama casts Abul Hayat, Kochi Khandakar and Rainy Habiba as the lead.
The story revolves around Joynuddin, an aged freedom fighter, who still works in a development firm to run his family, despite being an aged man. His only son, Tulu, does nothing significant with his life, even though he has completed his studies. Following his one passion, he operates an open air school for street children. Tulu is in love with a girl named Neetu, the daughter of Joynuddin’s boss.
The boss results to extremely demeaning methods to persuade Joynuddin to sell the land to him. He even hires a muscled hooligan to threaten him. But, as a freedom fighter, Joynuddin possesses adamantine mentality and decides not to give away his last resort so easily.
