Bangladeshi youth Gaus Mohammed Noman Munshi has been awarded six times for making excellence performance in mini marathon, cycling and racing competitions held in different cities of the United Kingdom this year.
As a single Bangladeshi participant in those contests, he was honoured with six awards while the rest contestants were from England, Europe and Africa.
Noman, son of late Abdul Wadud Munshi and Haji Ambia Khatun, hails from Noagaon village in Muradnagar upazila of Comilla, and currently he is a PhD student at University of Chester in Manchester.
On May 10, he gained crest for completing the 10km Morrisons Great Manchester Run within 1.2 hours and another success came from the 52km Morrisons Great Manchester Cycling held on June 24.
And on July 19, he was awarded at Morrisons Great Newham London Run.
He ended the 10km race within 59.24 minutes. On September 27 and October 4, he was honoured with awards at Morrisons Great Yorkshire Run and Chester Full Marathon respectively.
At last Noman participated in the Morrisons Great Birminghim Run on October 18 and gained a crest for ending 13.1-mile within 2.35 hours.
