Police have detained two youths on suspicion of the Thursday's firing on a Shia mosque at Haripur village under Shibganj upazila in Bogra.
Shibganj OC Ahsan Habib said police detained the two on Friday for questioning, reports UNB.
The OC also said a case has been registered with the police station in connection with the incident.
Some armed miscreants opened fire on the devotees at a Shia mosque at Haripur village during the Maghrib prayers, leaving the muezzin dead and three devotees injured.

The attack took place a month after two people had been killed as miscreants hurled hand grenades at a Tazia procession of the Shia Muslims in Old Dhaka, on the occasion of Ashura on November 24.
