Update : 18 Nov 2015, 06:30 AM

International Crimes Tribunal prosecutor Tureen Afroz has termed upholding the death penalty for war crimes convicts Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid a great triumph to the humanity.

“Many plots were active to foil the verdict move putting the country's sovereignty at threat. Amid the final verdict, it has been proved that none is above the law,” Tureen said immediately after the verdicts were given.
