Primary School Certificate and Madrasa (Ebtedayee) education examinations will begin across the country from November 22 and would end on November 29.
Primary and Mass Education Secretary Mesbah Ul Alam confirmed the news to the Dhaka Tribune yesterday.
The examinations will be held from 11am to 1:30pm. A total of 3,254,514 students are to appear for the tests. The number of PSC examinees are 2,949,063 and Ebtedayee 305,451.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will brief reporters on the examinations at the ministry today at 11:30am.
PSC routine
According to the routine published by the Directorate of Primary Education of Bangladesh, the English examination of PSC will be held on November 22 and Bangla on November 23, Bangladesh and Global Studies on November 24, Elementary Science on November 25, Religion and Moral Education on November 26 and Mathematics will be held on November 29.
Ebtedayee routine
The English examination of Ebtedayee will also be held on November 22, Bangla on November 23, Poribesh Parichity Samaj/Bigyan on November 24, Arabic on November 25, Quran, Tajbid, Akaidh and Fikah on November 26 and Mathematics will be held on November 29.
The expected date of publishing the results is on December 28. Successful students are likely to receive their certificates from January 20 next year.
