Narayanganj seven-murder case prime accused Nur Hossain has been shifted to Dhaka Central Jail.
Dhaka Central Jail Super Jahangir Alam said: "Nur Hossain was taken to Dhaka jail around 4:15pm Friday."
Narayanganj Jail Super Halima Khatun told the Dhaka Tribune: "Nur Hossain was shifted to Dhaka Central Jail for security reasons as he is an accused in a sensational case."

Earlier in the day, Narayanganj Chief Judicial Magistrate Shohidul Islam ordered to send Nur Hossain to jail after police produced him before the court.
Nur Hossain was shown arrested in 11 cases including the seven-murder case.
He was handed over to BGB 26 Battalion Deputy Commander Maj Liakat Ali around 11:32pm Thursday.

He was brought back to Bangladesh a day after Ulfa leader Anup Chetia was handed over to the Indian government.
On April 27, 2014, Narayanganj City Corporation panel mayor Nazrul Islam and six others were abducted. Later, their bodies were recovered from Shitalaykha river on April 30. Nazrul’s wife filed an abduction case against Nur and several others on April 28.
The government later arrested the suspected RAB officials, but Nur fled to India, allegedly with the help of local MP Shamim Osman.

On June 15, 2014, the West Bengal police arrested Nur with some of his accomplices from Kolkata. He had been in Indian custody since then.
