State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday told the parliament about the government’s initiative to draft and finalise a digital security law, which would aim to curb cyber crimes.
With Palak absent at the parliament yesterday, his answers were read out by State Minister for Post and Telecommunication Division Tarana Halim. The Awami League government prioritises curbing cyber crimes alongside digital advancement in the country, Palak said in his written answer to a query.
The ICT Division has also taken a programme to use digital signature for ensuring safe internet, Palak told the parliament.
