Preparations are going on to bring back Narayanganj seven-murder prime accused Nur Hossain, Narayanganj Police Super Dr Khandakar Mohiuddin has said.
The police super made the statement while talking to reporters on Thursday evening.
In response to a question whether Nur Hossain would be extradited in the night, Khandakar Mohiuddin said: "Preparations are going on.

"We will only be able to say about Nur Hossain's arrival once he arrives in the country."
Khandakar Mohiuddin said Nur Hossain would directly be brought to Narayanganj as the case against him was under trial in Narayanganj court.
Mahibul Islam Khan, ASP (admin) of Narayanganj police, said a police team was heading towards Jessore.

Several private television stations in Bangladesh are running scrolls stating that Nur Hossain will be brought back from India in the night.
On October 16, an Indian court ordered the extradition of Nur Hossain.
Nur, who faces several murder charges, allegedly financed some RAB officials for the abduction and murder of seven of his rivals last April. The government later arrested the suspected RAB officials, but Nur fled to India, allegedly with the help of local MP Shamim Osman.
On June 15, the West Bengal police arrested him with some of his accomplices from Kolkata. He has been in Indian custody since then.

On April 27, NCC panel mayor Nazrul Islam and six others were abducted. Later, their bodies have been recovered from Shitalaykha river on April 30. Nazrul's wife filed an abduction case against Nur on April 28.
