Julia Haque, member chairperson of Women’s Voluntary Association and former member of Dhaka Lions Club, died in her residence yesterday around 10:20am. She was 71.
Wife of late Aminul Haque, Juliya left behind two sons, two daughters, grandchildren and a host of friends and well-wishers.
Her namaz-e-janaza was held at Uttara Jame Masjid after Maghrib prayers yesterday, and she was buried in Banani graveyard.
