Detective Branch (DB) of police have arrested a suspected criminal with a pipegun and two rounds of cartridge from Shonatola area under sadar upazila in Narsingdi.
The detainee is Rasel Molla, son of Rauf Molla of Kamargaon village. Rasel is an accused in several cases including robbery.
District DB police SI Abdul Goffor said: “Acting on a tip off, we conducted a raid in the area and detained Rasel with a pipegun, two rounds of cartridge on Thursday night.”
Meanwhile, the DB officials also recovered 200 pieces of yaba tablets from his possession.
