The government employees to get their salaries with arrears under the 8th national pay scale from January next, Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has said.
He made the disclosure while talking to the reporters at his secretariat office after meetings with the representatives of the Scientists of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh, reports BSS.
The two professional bodies appealed to include their demands in the new pay scale during the meetings.
The finance minister said government would consider some of their demands.
