Ahmedur Rashid Tutul, who came under attack at his Shuddhashar publication office at Lalmatia, has filed a case with Mohammadpur police station in Dhaka.
Muntasirul Islam, deputy commissioner of DMP (Media) told the Dhaka Tribune that Tutul filed the case on Monday afternoon against three unknown people.
Around 2:30pm on Saturday, Ahmedur Rashid Tutul, another publisher of Avijit, was attacked at his Shuddhashar publication office at Lalmatia.
Blogger Ranadipam Basu, and poet Tareq Rahim, both friends of Tutul present at the office, were also injured in the attack.
The trio survived the attack carried out with machetes and firearms, and were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Meanwhile, Dr Razia Rahman Jolly, wife of slain Jagriti Prakashani Publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan, has filed a murder case with Shahbagh police station against some unidentified assailants.
