Dr Razia Rahman Jolly, wife of slain Jagriti Prakashani Publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan, has filed a case over his murder with Shahbagh police station against some unidentified assailants.
The case was filed around 2:15pm on Monday, nearly 44 hours after the body was recovered from the spot at Aziz Supermarket in Dhaka.
Shahbagh OC Abu Bakar Siddique confirmed the case filing to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: "SI Harun took the copy of the FIR to Dipan's wife Jolly and brought it back to the police station after taking her signature."
Dipan was found dead at Aziz Supermarket in Shahbagh around 6:30pm Saturday evening. Dipan's publishing house published a book of slain writer-blogger Avijit.
