Slain blogger-writer Avijit Roy's wife Rafida Ahmed Bonya has called upon the countrymen to be united to thwart the recent killing mission of Islamist militants before going all things to the hands of wrongdoers.
Pointing at the murder of Faisal Arefin Dipan, whose publishing house published a book of Avijit Roy, a secular and free-thinking blogger who had to face the same fate, she made the call in a facebook post on Sunday.
“The unfortunate incidents taking place in the country are premeditated and the outcome of long-hatched plot. We have made safe haven for them (the militants) to nurture properly.
We should not be limited to protest verbally, rather we will have to react against the ill-move unitedly,” Bonya said.
