Authorities of Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College have closed the institution for an indefinite period following a scuffle between two factions of the ruling party student wing Bangladesh Chhatra League.
Confirming the news, SBMC Principal Dr Bhaskar Saha said: “All residential students were asked to vacate the dormitories by 6pm Wednesday.”
According to students, the scuffle between two groups of BCL ensued over formation of the medical college unit committee.
