Four people have been killed and two others injured as a truck knocked down a CNG-run autorickshaw in Gangair area under Madhupur upazila in Tangail.
The deceased are Jony, 20, Anwar Hossain, 24, Malek, 60, and Khalek, 44.
Madhupur OC Shafikul Islam said: “A Tangail-bound truck knocked down the autorickshaw coming from opposite direction at Gangair area around 6:30am Sunday, killing three people on the spot.”
He said Anwar died while being shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital from Madhupur Health Complex.
