Police have recovered 53 crude bombs, 47 molotov cocktails and a firearm at Mehergaon village in Madhabpur upazila in the district.
The recovery was made around 11pm Thursday. However, none was arrested in this connection.
Sources said a team of police on a tip-off conducted a drive at the night and found the large stock of abandoned explosives in a graveyard in the village.
When asked, Madhabpur police station Officer-in-Charge Mollah Manir Hossain acknowledged the incident.
