A magician has died of cardiac arrest during performing at Durgapuja mandap in Goalpota village in Tala upazila of Satkhira on Tuesday.
The deceased, Gobinda Sarkar, 39, was branch manager of Brahmarajpur unit NGO Unnayon Prochesta. He left behind his wife, two daughters and two sons.
Witness sources said Gobinda fell on the stage at a puja mandap in the village being attacked by cardiac complications during performing and died instantly.
In a condolence message, Unnayon Prochesta Director Eakub Ali expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members and wished eternal peace to the departed soul.
