Police have recovered the body of a youth near the embankments of Payra river at Purba Burirchar village under sadar upazila in Barguna.
The deceased is Raju, 20, son of Shahjahan Mridha and a sales representative of a food company.
district around 8:30pm on Monday.
Sadar OC Riaz Hussain said: “On information from the locals, we recovered the body around 8:30pm Monday. Stab wounds were noticed on his body.”
The OC said the body has been sent to hospital for the autopsy.
