Popular Bangla film actor Riazuddin Ahmed Siddiqui Riaz has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals in the capital after a cardiac arrest.
Riaz fell sick while he was in a shooting set of ‘Krishnapakkha’ at Hoichoi shooting spot of Uttara around 8.30pm, film director SA Haque Alik told the Dhaka Tribune.
Riaz was taken to Coronary Care Unit (CCU) after a surgery in the hospital, he added.
According to the shooting unit of ‘Krishnapakkha’, Riaz fell faint and was rushed to a local clinic in Uttara while he was recording dialogues for the film.
As his health condition deteriorated, Riaz was shifted to the Apollo Hospitals.
