Detective Branch (DB) of police have arrested two alleged members of banned Islamic militant group Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Sirajganj.
The arrestees are Md Motaleb Hossain, 22, son of Md Abul Kashem and a sixth-semester student of Computer Department at Sirajganj Polytechnic Institute and, Md Hozrot Ali, 33, son of late Shukur Mahmud of Boroitoli village.
DB Deputy Inspector Rawson Ali said they were detained in a drive conduct at their houses.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Supriya Rahman granted them a three-day remand when the DB officer produced the JMB members before the court with a five-day remand plea on Sunday afternoon.
